with them and they are great with their family. They will only bark if they feel
there is something wrong and they need to be trained as a puppy
and as it gets older and They get 20-24 inches and weight about
50-75 pounds they are a large dogs.
I own a laboreiro. He is an amazing dog. I am a dog trainer & training this guy was not easy but was certainly worth my efforts. I socialized him early & as a result he is very sweet, docile dog. He is awesome with kids. His intelligence & ability to discern are amazing. He is still a very strong willed dog & like you said he needs a reality check on a regular basis. He needs a great deal of exercise & consistent rules. He loves to travel & makes a great companion on road trips. Overall, this dog is a joyful, happy & respectful dog. That being said, owning this dog should really only be taken on by an experienced dog person. They need consistent leadership or they are smart enough to take over your household
